About

Clinic Reception

Professionally registered Psychotherapists, Counsellors and Psychologists in Sydney.

Our therapists work within a clearly contracted, principled relationship which helps patients to develop their capacity to resolve emotional, personal and relationship issues.

Psychotherapy and Counselling are professional activities that enable people to develop greater self awareness and to make positive changes in their lives.

Whilst both Counselling & Psychotherapy work at considerable depth, the difference between them is on the focus of change. Counselling is a shorter term treatment designed to manage a specific problem, situation or life change. Psychotherapy is concerned with the restructuring of the personality or self and may involve more frequent and longer term treatment.

Counselling or Psychotherapy treatments may be provided by a range of professionals including Psychologist, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers or Medical Doctors. All of the therapists who work with Associated Counsellors & Psychologists Sydney are professional members of a relevant professional organisation such as the Australian Psychological Society or the Psychotherapy & Counsellors Federation of Australia. This ensures that your therapist has a high level of training, ongoing professional development and supervision and that they must abide by strict codes of conduct.

We welcome your enquiry.
